These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Aussie Talk mobile application and website at aussietalk.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Aussie Talk ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Aussie Talk is a language learning and entertainment app that translates text into Australian slang, provides an Australian slang dictionary with audio, and lets you have voice conversations with an AI character named Bruce. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Aussie Talk offers a premium subscription ("Aussie Talk Premium") that unlocks additional features including unlimited chat, the full slang dictionary, and learning content.

• Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

3. AI-Generated Content

The translations, chat responses, and character interactions in Aussie Talk are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and entertainment value, AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected. The Service is intended for entertainment and informal language learning and should not be relied upon as a definitive language reference.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, characters (including Bruce), and code comprising the Service are owned by Aussie Talk and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aussie Talk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
