Australia’s Bonza Airlines has shut down, leaving passengers stranded
Bonza Airlines was forced to ground all flights across Australia on Thursday as it was revelled the company could no longer continue operating.
It reportedly owes more than A$4.5 million dollars and has appointed administrators.
The Australian Government has opened a phone line to provide assistance to stranded Bonza passengers. The number is 1800 069 244.
Australia’s Transport Minister, Catherine King, also revealed larger airlines Virgin Australia and Qantas have offered to help stranded Bonza passengers.

Bonza operates out of a base at the Sunshine Coast Airport and primarily operated on routes between smaller Australian cities, along with limited flights from Melbourne’s Tullamarine and the Gold Coast’s Airport.
